| Since the dawn of DIRT Motorsports in 1978 there has been hundreds, even thousands of drivers competing around the Northeast. Most drivers fail to be victorious no more than once before their careers come to an end, but some drivers make entering victory lane a habit, one that time nor age can put an end to. When the names Hearn, Johnson, Horton, Pauch or Brightbill are announced, most instantly think of greatness. To all which have ever viewed a modified race, you know that greatest is not limited to those few names. Jeff Heotzler is, without question, is one of the greatest drivers of all time. With over 150 wins, 10 Championship rings and countless awards and honors, 'The Jeffer' has and continues to rise to the occasion and never disappoints his thousands of dedicated, screaming fans week in and out. Over time the sport of modified racing may die out, but the legacy of 'The Jeffer' will live on forever. |
